The Last Jedi Movie Poster

I started the project when I was inspired by the movie The Last Jedi to create my own custom movie poster. I decided on Kyla Ren as I just had a general idea of him holding light saber in my head with the words the “Jedi Will End”. The main figure is taken from a collectible model not an image from the movie, which I cut out from its background put through many uses of the gradient tool and smoke layers.  The light saber is actually a separate image that was taken from several different pictures of life-sized toy light sabers that I cut out then went over with a low opacity brush of different sizes to make it look as though it had the effect that it was glowing. Finally, I added the type, “The Jedi Will End”, a quote from the movie preview. I am very happy with this as I am a large fan of the movie and I believe I accomplished what I wanted when I set out to do this project.
